What you can expect

Every website has one job: getting you more enquiries. No features for the sake of it — just the things that turn a local search into a phone call. Most customers want to know three things fast: can you do the job, do you look reliable, and how do they get in touch.

More local enquiries

Found on Google when someone in your area searches for the work you do — that's the whole point.

Clear what & where

Shows exactly what you do and the towns you cover, written into the content so it actually ranks.

Works on mobile

Built mobile-first, where most trade searches happen, so it looks sharp on any phone.

Loads fast

Quick to open even on a slower connection, so nobody bounces before they reach you.

Easy to contact

Tap-to-call and message buttons front and centre, so getting in touch takes one tap.

Proof you can trust

Real reviews and real local jobs up front — see what makes a trades website work.

Simple, start to finish

How it works

Send over what you have, even rough notes, and I'll shape it into something that works. No meetings and no site visits — it all happens through the portal or by email.

1

Tell me the basics

Your trade, the areas you cover and your services — by portal or email.

2

Send any photos

Phone shots straight from the job are ideal. No photos? Not a problem.

3

I build it

I write the content, set up the local SEO and build the whole site.

Live in 48 hours

You get a link to review, then it goes live — usually within 48 hours.

Packages start at £99 for a single-page site, with no monthly fees unless you want hosting and updates included.

Why it matters for trades

How customers in Scotland find you

Most people needing a tradesperson go straight to Google. They type "electrician Edinburgh" or "boiler repair Midlothian", scan the first few results, and call whoever looks most reliable.

Show up, or lose the job

If your business isn't in those results — or appears but looks outdated — the work goes to someone else. A properly built site, with your trade and towns written clearly into the content, is the most reliable way to appear for those searches.

The longer it's been live and well-structured, the more steadily it brings in work.

SEO that keeps building

Alongside a well-built website, local SEO work improves where you rank over time. For the detail, what makes a trades website work is worth a read.

And if you're wondering whether Facebook alone is enough — the short answer is no, but it's worth understanding why.

Common questions

Before you get started

Do I need to be based in Scotland to work with you?

No. Everything is done remotely, so I work with tradespeople anywhere in Scotland. Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife are where most of the work is focused, but wherever you are in the country isn't a barrier.

How long does it take to get found on Google?

A new site typically starts picking up local traffic within three to six weeks. It builds from there — the longer it's been live and properly set up, the more consistently it performs. It's not instant, but it compounds.

I already have a website — can you just do the SEO?

Yes. If your existing site is fundamentally sound, I can work on improving how it ranks without rebuilding it. Get in touch and I'll have a look at what you've got. More on the SEO service here.

How much does a trades website cost?

Packages start at £99 for a single-page site and go up to £299 for a full multi-page build — both one-off payments. See all packages here. There's also a full breakdown of what different price points get you.

Do you cover my area?

If you're in Edinburgh, Midlothian, West Lothian, East Lothian or Fife — yes, those are areas I know well. If you're elsewhere in Scotland, I can still help. Everything is remote, so there's no geographic restriction across the country.

Will my website show up for searches in multiple areas?

Yes, if it's built correctly. A site that clearly states the towns and areas you work in — written into the actual page content, not just a footer — can show up for searches across your whole patch. That's built in from the start.

What if I just want some advice rather than a full build?

That's fine. If you want a steer on what to do yourself — what pages to create, how to improve your Google Business Profile, what directories to be on — get in touch and I'll point you in the right direction. Not every tradesperson needs a full service, and I won't push you towards one.
